Welcome to the Snorkel Forums. The forums were opened on July 16, 2006. Activity will probably be a little light at first, but we hope that existing Snorkel Hot Tub owners will join and participate in the community along with registered guests and that it will be a robust forum fairly soon.

If you are a Snorkel Hot Tub Owner, after you register, be sure to join the Hot Tub Owner group. Click on Group Memberships under the User CP (control panel). In the Request Reason line give us enough information (e.g., name, phone number and zip code) so that we can identify and confirm that you are a Snorkel owner.

Default Bolting in the seats
I bought my tub used. It may be 8 years old or older. All three seats came loose over the past month. I drained the tub yesterday and noticed they had been moved and re secured twice. I ended up buying stainless bolts washers and nuts and bolting them completely through the sides. I am assuming Snorkel uses lag bolts for a reason but they are no longer doing the job in my poor old tub.

We usually use Stainless Steel Screws, but what you did should work! Good Luck and let us know if we can assist.
